Access and Correction of Personal Information:
Clients have the right to access their personal information that we hold and to request that any errors be corrected. Clients can make a request to access or correct their personal information by contacting us in writing at info@fs2.ca.
File Retention:
We retain client files for the period required by applicable laws and regulations, including the requirements of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA) and the insurance industry in Canada. Client files are retained for a minimum of seven years from the date of the last transaction, or for a longer period if required by law or regulatory requirements. When personal information is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected, we will securely destroy or dispose of it in accordance with our document retention policy and applicable laws and regulations.
